I saw the drag brake function. This was added later with the revised rec/esc combo. Neat option for sure.

@@AMPROEngineering Yes, it's neat but also confusing since some of the transmitters still have the H/L throttle rate on the button instead of BRAKE so you ended up thinking it will give a stronger electrical power to the motor but it enables the drag brake instead. At least the 370 motor does have higher RPM so it does go faster by default than the 260.

The C54-1 video uses the optimal motor for this model. A 540 would ruin everything about the model including the CG. This is a small car.

A high RPM 180 is enough for 1/16 scale, a lower RPM 370 is the best for torque, a 540 is detrimental because you have to modify so much.

No, as I covered in the end, there is a simple fix for it but I do not think it was acceptable to sell it like this.

It needs to have 30 degrees of camber all around. Then you can blare your electro, bust out the glow sticks and do a top spin.

Only if you choose to forget about FMS. While my WPLs look fantastic, both stock and done up, they're nowhere near as great looking as my FMS 1/12 Jimny. :)

For the price, you cant beat them.

Yeah but WPL's are bigger and way cheaper than the 1/18 FMS cars. I have a pile of FMS cars too and love them.

@@AMPROEngineering True, they are way cheaper, and they look great. I have four C24s, a B24 and a D12. I also just received a C44KM last week, but the cab was completely smashed to bits inside the box, so WPL has sent me a new one. Can't wait to build that one. They look so good. The 1/12 FMS rigs do look even better though, and quality wise they're a couple of steps above a WPL, plus they have nicer features. And they are like 2-3 times the price of a WPL. :)

@@Br0rB The C24 is the best one out of everything honestly. It has a large battery space and high ground clearance for that price, unbeatable. Probably the one I recommend to anyone.

So I installed the 2 speed with the 370. I installed a larger motor on the C54 (shown here, its the red one) and that may help with your question. I cant recal what trans this one came with.

I am doing this video after the battery one coming next! As for a servo, I am running the stock one

They just went out of business. We are scrambling to find a new host but with us having 5200 individual products, this is going to take time. For now we are expanding our YouMagine for home prints. We are posting on FB and IG as soon as we figure it out.

They are already filling orders. I think it's just slow based on the fact they do it in house.

Well, I uploaded everything to Shapeways, 5 hours before they went out of business....so at this point, it is only available via home print. I am working on a new print host. Ball park is in MJF which I used, well over $300. Pretty much not worth considering you need lots of other hardware.

@AMPROEngineering everything is always worth a thought plus I am not one to get rid of parts that still have life left so hardwarei have, as well as having something unique is always worth considering.

The company that hosted my shop just closed down sadly. We are looking for a new print shop and will figure this out soon. Otherwise we will be expanding our new YouMagine site for home prints.

We are working on it. This has been disastrous for us.

I also have wanted one. I used to have a US Contour but for some reason, the 1st gen EU Mondeo Hatch/Sedan was always a car I wanted to import to the US.

@AMPROEngineering had a mk2 Fiesta, a Mk4 Escort, a Mk2 Sierra and currently drive a Mk3 Focus so guess that makes me a Ford guy hey? 😉👌
